This is your required first step before selecting an ongoing Family Support Pathway. The Intake Assessment gives your BCBA the opportunity to get to know your family, gather detailed information about your concerns and priorities, and begin building a clear foundation for individualized support.

 

Your assessment includes: 

• A 75-minute individualized intake and behavioral assessment

• Discussion of your family's concerns, routines, strengths, priorities, and goals

• Creation of your confidential client case file

• Identification of behavioral patterns and areas where support may be helpful

• Development of an individualized Behavior Intervention & Support Plan

• Practical, evidence-informed recommendations tailored to your family's needs

 

Following your assessment, your BCBA will spend time reviewing the information gathered and developing your individualized plan. Your completed plan will typically be ready within 1–2 weeks and will be formally reviewed with you during your first ongoing support session.
